Save the date: Our favourite Barber-Surgeon in residence

Standard

Special Event: Saturday 18 June, 10.30am – 4pm

Our favourite Barber-Surgeon will be in residence @ the Ship Centre

Roger Morgan will be with us for the day with all his wondrous medieval medical equipment, and his favourite pet leeches.  Come and hear him talk about medicine in the 15th century.  But beware, don’t mention that you have toothache otherwise he’ll pull out all your teeth and replace them with a wooden set!

Roger works at CADW and was involved with the Agincourt 600 commemorations where he featured on a special episode of Coast to Coast as his alter ego, the travelling barber-surgeon.

Don’t forget, the Ship Centre reopens to the public on Friday 12 February, with regular opening on Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holidays.  Group visits can be arranged by appointment.  See our website for details
